TLMS Annual Conference To Return To Stirling (30 April 07)
On Saturday May 19th, the Annual Conference of The Leprosy Mission Scotland will be held in Stirling. The conference is a great opportunity to hear more about the work of TLM around Scotland and around the world. Last year in Inverness we heard challenging and exciting presentations from Graham Peck, the national director of TLM Australia as well as Steve McMillan and James Hardie who had both recently returned from working in India. This year promises to be just as encouraging.
Confimed speakers for this year's conference are
- Julie Woodford. Recently returned from 3 years working as an occupational therapist in Darfur, Sudan
- Geoff Warne. Newly appointed Director of TLM International
The conference will be held in St Ninian's UF Church (map) at 2.00pm and will be followed by a dinner at the Hollybank Restaurant (expected max cost £15) giving further opportunities to meet and talk to trustees, staff members, speakers and other TLM Supporters from around the country.
