Meet
The Leprosy Mission have a vision of A World Without Leprosy; a world in which the causes and consequences of leprosy have been eradicated.
A crucial part of the work of The Leprosy Mission Scotland is to educate people in Scotland about leprosy, to raise awareness about the severe difficulties experienced by those affected by leprosy and about the work of the mission worldwide as it strives to see this vision become a reality.
In 2011/12 we are putting extra emphasis on this area of our work as we have been struck by often recently we've spoken to people who had no idea that leprosy still existed, of the problems it causes or that we exist to combat those problems.
Our team of trained staff and volunteers are available throughout the year to speak to any interested group anywhere in the country. We have talks, presentations and films to suit any age group in any setting. From Sunday services to mid week youth groups; from ladies missionary groups to mens prayer breakfasts; Rotary, Probus or Inner Wheel we will give you a valuable insight into our vital work around the world. Specially produced resources enable us to make a valuable contribution to schools and youth groups.
No group is too small, too large or too far away!
If your church or group would be interested in finding out more about how this ancient disease is still devastating lives throughout the developing world, and about the wide variety of work being done to cure, restore and rehabilitate those affected, give us a call or an email. We’re waiting to hear from you. Our events diary includes a list of where our speakers are going to be this month.

We have been delighted to support the work of TLMS. Leprosy is often misunderstood in Scotland, and indeed around the world. It has been our privilege to support this healing work, and to engage further with TLMS by upholding them in prayer and by having a representative to speak and lead worship.
