Magazines and Newsletters
To keep our supporters informed about the fantastic work The Leprosy Mission is doing around the world, we produce 2 issues of our magazine, Dòchas (Gaelic for Hope), every year.
In the most recent issue, October 2011, you can read about the difference that the work of the mission is making to people affected by leprosy in Bangladesh and China. There is an introduction to some fo the big changes that The Leprosy Mission Scotland is planning to make in 2012 as well as changes happening at a global level within the mission. There are also details of a wide variety of events happening all over the country in the coming months which will enable our supporters to raise awareness of, and funds for, our work around the world.
Using the button on the right hand side you can sign up to receive future issues of Dòchas direct to your Inbox. Back issues of Dòchas are also available for you to read.
Bengal Bulletin
To help Scottish supporters become more deeply involved in the West Bengal Project Partnership, Bengal Bulletin will be published twice a year. We will get to know some of the staff and their work; we will be able to see the impact the our prayers and donations here in Scotland are having on the work of the projects and on those we serve. Hopefully we will all gain a a real sense of partnership with everyone at Purulia and Bankura.
The first issue, October 08, follows Ben Tattersal, a Scottish medical student during his time at Purulia - what better way to make Purulia come alive than through the eyes of a young Scot who spent the summer there. Other issues of Bengal Bulletin are also available for you to read.
