The Leprosy Mission Scotland Awarded For Work With Volunteers
On Thursday June 3rd, at a reception in Stirling as part of National Volunteers Week, The Leprosy Mission Scotland received a special award for its work with volunteers.
At the reception individual volunteers and organisations in a variety of categories were recognised for the great work they do as volunteers to help people in the Stirling area and further afield.
At the end of the ceremony, The Leprosy Mission Scotland received a special award. The award for "Volunteer Engaging Organisation of the Year" recognises the whole team, particularly in the office, in their work with a variety of volunteers who support our work across Scotland to bring healing and hope to people affected by leprosy around the world.
The Leprosy Mission Scotland is deeply honoured to be recognised in this way and the award will have pride of place in the office for the next year.
