Emergency Appeal For Chad Launched
In October's prayer e-mail, there was a prayer request for Niger and Chad.
"It is most likely there will be little or no harvest, please pray that the rain will fall and give strength to the second crop that has been sown."
Since then we have received another request for Chad advising that due to the absence of rain over the northern and eastern parts of Africa, there will be a meager harvest in some areas and no harvest at all in others. The reality of the situation could mean a famine in the immediate future if no help is given.
The Leprosy Mission Scotland has launched an emergency appeal to respond to this need.
