Volunteers Get Awards
As part of National Volunteers' Week two of our Volunteers have received awards from Stirling Council and the Volunteer Centre for their volunteering efforts.
Laurel McCallum received a special mention in the Young Volunteer category while Margaret Sladden of the Stirling Area Committee received a special mention in the Senior Volunteer category. Congratulations to them both.
Not only do volunteers allow the mission to do and achieve things that wouldn't be possible otherwise, they also add to the team a range of extra skills, abilities and opinions which enrich our organisation as a whole. If you are interested in the different volunteering options available at The Leprosy Mission Scotland have a look around the website and be inspired.
